Frieda Maurine Sherfield

Frieda Maurine Sherfield, aged 85, of Bend, Oregon, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1940, in Blanca, Colorado.

For nearly four decades, Frieda cherished her home in Marina, California, where she loved the ocean-coast life - the fresh sea air, the beach walks, and the serenity of the central California coastline. Having moved to Bend in 2005, she embraced the beauty of Central Oregon and the company of her family in her retirement years.

A devoted Christian, Frieda's life was guided by faith and family. She delighted in spending time with her entire family, cooking meals that brought everyone together, and expressing herself through painting. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and playing softball - pastimes that reflected her joy, energy and connection with friends and family.

She is survived by Harvey Sherfield, Vance Sherfield, Annette Scheer, Paul Corazzini, and her many beloved grandchildren and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, her son Harvey Joe Sherfield, and numerous other loved family members.

Her warmth, kind spirit and deep love for family and the coast will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
