Friedrich Wiemar “Fritz” age 86 of Lake St. Louis, MO, born in Germany, immigrated to the US in 1969, passed away on March 1st, 2024, from lung cancer. Fritz was a former tool and dye maker employed by Chrysler in Detroit, and later GM from which he retired. He was a wonderful, kind man, full of life, always laughing and making jokes. Fritz had a passion for collecting stamps, with a primary focus on European varieties. He enjoyed immersing himself in the melodies of German music and had a diverse taste in iconic artists such as Johnny Cash and Elvis. Additionally, Fritz was a dedicated beer connoisseur, constantly on the lookout for unique brews to explore and discuss the intricate nuances of tastes and flavors. More than anything, he loved his family and was a father to all, always there for everyone.

Fritz was predeceased by his former wife Dorothy Brockel. He leaves children Deanna Wiemar and from his previous marriage to Dorothy, Timothy Davison, Laura Davison, and Lottie Roach. Grandchildren: Dorin and Damon Wiemar, Steven Davison, Rhonda Sharp, Jeremiah Davison, Derek Davison, Jonathon Davison, Jacob Davison, Emma Davison, Jack Clark, Nicole Sheehan, Brittany Roach, and Kaylee Spangler, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by Dean Davison and Dean’s son Jonathon and Laura’s son Thomas Clark. Fritz, as a father, family man and friend will be missed by all. We loved him dearly.
