Fritz Indermaur, of Shaler Township, on Tuesday January 23, 2024. Born in Berneck, Switzerland on March 19, 1931 he was the eldest child of Christina (Thöny) and Niklaus Indermaur. He was the beloved husband to the late Rosmarie Hebeisen Indermaur. Fritz was the loving father of Jean-Jaques Miglio and Edith Monteverde (Peter A). Fritz was the proud Äti / Grandpa Suisse to Christian Miglio (Jessica), Patrick Miglio (Bethany), Peter Jacob Monteverde, and Joshua Monteverde. He was the Great-Grandpa Suisse to Harper, Nora, Harrison, Adeline, and Jacqueline. Fritz was preceded in death by his three brothers, Peter, Ernst, and Niklaus Indermaur. He is survived by his two sisters Lisbeth Forster and Margrit Perreárd and foster brother Walter Kuster. Fritz’s quiet, but adventurous spirit led him to Pittsburgh for a two year job exchange that turned into forever. He loved his family, home, job as a mechanical designer, and friends. He was very proud that he had the opportunity and privilege to become an American citizen at the age of seventy-three. Friends will be received Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mount Royal Blvd. Glenshaw where a celebration of life service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.
