We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Fumay Lee Pu, who brought immense joy and love into our lives. She was born on October 5, 1939, in Taipei Taiwan and was the oldest of 12 children.
In 1965, she married Pu Weita, and together they embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to Texas in 1971 where she learned to speak English. She had two children, Dennis and Angie, and her legacy lives on through her three cherished grandchildren: Alex, Bruce, and Jolene.
In the 1980s, she and her husband sponsored some of her siblings who wanted to live in the US, where they also made Texas their home and eventually started families of their own.
Throughout her life, she displayed an unwavering commitment to personal growth and education. She pursued her passion by taking courses at the community college and ultimately obtained her real estate license. In the 1990s, she worked as a realtor, forging meaningful connections with clients and colleagues alike.
In her leisure time, our dear mother found solace and joy in her hobbies. Her cooking brought people together and created lasting memories. She also had a wanderlust spirit and loved to travel and explore new places and revisit old favorites. California held a special place in her heart, where she experienced countless moments of bliss.
Above all else, our mother cherished her friendships. Her warm and friendly nature attracted people from all walks of life, and she treasured the time spent with her dear friends.
As we bid farewell to our beloved mother, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us. Her spirit will forever guide and inspire us. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
There will be a funeral service to celebrate Fumay's life at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Allen Family Funeral Options with Pastor Raleigh Clay officiating. If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit: http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/93787.
