It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Gabe was one of my first students at Paxon. It was my first year teaching and he was in my first class ever-6B Analysis of Functions his junior year. I´ll never forget he and his classmates reactions when they found out they finally had a new and permanent teacher. He just knew his charm and big smile would get him out of doing any homework. Nope! It wasn´t long before I saw him and his teammates in study hall after school. :) When he came back from college to visit, I couldn´t believe how much he had grown. He had matured into a young man sharing his progress at Valdosta State and his future goals. I reminded him to always stay positive-good vibes only. I´m sad to hear of his passing, but honored that I got a chance to know him. I pray for your family´s strength and comfort during this time.

Mr. and Mrs. Devoe,
I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear the news of Gabriel's passing. I enjoyed having him in my Pre-K class. He was such a delightful, loving child, with the cutest face and squishiest cheeks. As the years went on, I have such wonderful memories of him playing neighborhood basketball with my son, Johnny. I am grateful and so blessed that the Lord put him in my life and let me be a small part of Gabriel's earthly life. I am unable to attend the services, but please know that your family is heavy on my heart and in mind. I will be praying for peace and understanding during for your family during this difficult time.
Much Love,
Heather Moon

Rose and John, I am so sorry to of your sons passing. While I never met Gabriel I heard so many wonderful stories of Gabriel from Rose when he was a little boy. I know he was your pride and joy and again I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I am thinking of your family and I feel such sorrow for you.
