Gabriel Jr. was the only child of Jennifer Gonzales and Jessie Tellez. Gabriel was baptized at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in San Antonio Tx. He later chose to attend Holy Cross Catholic School, where he made lots of friends that became his brothers. Gabriel was an all around athlete, he played Football, Soccer, Baseball, and Basketball (1year). He was also in Track & Field, and on the Weight Lifting team. Garbriel was not just an athlete but he was also in clubs like the chess team, and bowling team. Gabriel had many talents as well, he could sing very well to country music, he played the guitar, he loved to dance, and liked to draw from time to time. Gabriel has also won medals, trophies, and all district goalie 4 years in a role. He also won every year at homecoming as Lord, Duke, Prince, and King.
Gabriel graduated from Holy Cross Catholic School in 2017. Afterwards he went off to Northwest Vista for his associates degree and then UTSA for his bachelor's degree. He also played on both college soccer teams. Out of all the sports and clubs he was in, his favorite was Soccer, and Chess. Gabriel was one of the best people to have in your life. He was a proud Texan, a cowboy, a jokester, a dancer, a singer, a person that put everyone's needs above his own, a great friend, a gamer, and the perfect son his mother and father could ask for. Gabriel later chose to get certified in horseshoeing, where he later worked as a cowboy. Gabriel not only did horseshoeing, but also worked with ranch animals, herd cows, and entered in small rodeo tournaments for bronco riding. He loved the excitement that came with bronco riding. Gabriel was truly a Texas cowboy and was just doing what he loved. Like all young men Gabriel was figuring out what he wanted to do in life. Then he finally decided he wanted to join the Airforce. He signed up and was so excited that he was finally going to travel and see amazing things. He was set to leave in 2025.
Gabriel had big dreams, love for his family, a smile that can light up any room, and respect for everyone. He was there whenever he was needed and was full of happiness. He loved being in the country, fishing, hunting, and doing cowboy things. All Gabriel ever wanted was a peaceful life with family and friends he loved very much. There are not a lot of people like Gabriel in this world, he was one of the greatest people you could ever meet. He was a wonderful and handsome young man. Sadly Gabriel Antonio Edward Herron Jr. life was tragically cut short way too soon. He had many more things to do in this world, and we wish he could make more memories with everyone. This world lost an amazing young man, but heaven gained a pure soul. Please keep him in your prayers everyday. He will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and never forgotten.
