Antonio B. Martinez was born on June 13, 1943, to parents Jose and Magdalena Martinez in San Antonio, Texas. He married his beloved wife, Janie Martinez, and they spent 59 cherished years together. He went on to bask in the glory of God on July 26, 2025. Antonio was a fun, warm-hearted person who always made everyone around him laugh. He was forever making new friends wherever he went. There wasn't a place he went where he couldn't find someone to chat with- sometimes for hours. He was always seen with his hat, and coffee in hand. He is survived by his beautiful devoted wife, Janie Martinez; their sons, Mark Anthony (Leticia Murillo) Martinez, Charles Martinez, and Peter (Susan) Martinez; sisters, Dolores (Gilbert) Arevalo, and Mary Lou (Robert) Acosta; grandchildren, Destiny (Hugo) Granillo, Valerie Vicuna, Jeremy (Crystal) Martinez, Jeffrey Martinez, Chelsea (Pete) Martinez-Robles and David Martinez; great-grandchildren, Presley Lewter, Dodger Granillo, Aiden Martinez, Sofia Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Jayden Cruz, Levi Robles, and Aria Robles; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Reina. Services: A visitation will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm. A rosary will be held at 6pm, immediately followed by a eulogy. Final visitation will continue at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South on August 7th, 2025 from 8:30am to 9:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St Lawrence Catholic Church at 10am. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Burial Park South.
