Gabriel Flores, proud father of 3 children, 71, of Webster, TX, died on September 1, 2025.
He was born in Brownsville, Texas, in 1954 to Odilon Flores and Julia Ledesma. Gabriel enlisted in the U.S Army when he was 17 years old. He continued his military service with the Navy and Air Force Reserve, followed by joining U.S Customs and later Customs and Border Protection, where he was a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for over 20 years. He was dedicated and selfless.
Gabriel was a devoted and loving father to Jesus, Magdalena, and Joel, who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them.
He took great pride in being a parent and was proud to see his children flourish.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents, Odilon Flores and Julia Ledesma; brother, Arturo Flores; sisters, Irmas Salinas, Guadalupe Miller, Carmen Low, Lydia Padron and is survived by his children, Jesus Flores of Herndon, Magalena Arnett of Arlington, Joel Flores of Webster; sisters, Catarina Leon of Appleton, Julia Rhode of Wautoma, Rosa Leon of Appleton, Amelia Rodriguez of Alice; brother Santiago Flores of Waupaca.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Leikness Funeral Home, 358 S. Oxford St., Wautoma, WI from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 am. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 364 S. Cambridge St., Wautoma. Burial with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma.
