Our beloved Gabe was a humble, loving, and gentle soul who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Known for his unforgettable sense of humor, Gabe had a special gift for making his family laugh — a light-heartedness that will be deeply missed.
Gabriel found peace in the mountains, especially hunting with his uncles. He also had a passion for skateboarding, snowboarding, tagging, drawing and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Angelo and Darren, and by David Trujillo — whom Gabriel lovingly asked to be his dad.
He is survived by his mother, Esther Manzanares; father, Dennis Martinez; sister, Shania; and his cherished niece, Malory, who lovingly called him “Uncle Bobos.” He also leaves behind his grandmother Shirley (Miguel), whom he held close and protected with all his heart; grandparents Frankie and Caroline; uncles Edward, Carlo, and Greg; aunt Amanda and Matthew, Papo, and AJ who were very special to him.
Gabriel's presence was a gift to all who knew him and to those who were lucky enough to call him son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Gabriel’s spirit will live on through the laughter he gave, the love he shared, and the memories forever held by those who knew him.
Burial will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Vallecitos Methodist Cemetery in Vallecitos, NM.
