curiosity and love, born on February 15, 1995, completed his earthly journey on
November 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with oral cancer. He transitioned
peacefully in the early morning hours, surrounded by the unwavering love of his
family, and now rests on a state of perfect grace.
Gabriel's life was a beautiful paradox of finite time and infinite impact. Sharing a
birthday with the astronomer Galileo, he too possessed a unique perspective, always
seeking the deeper beauty and mystery in the world around him. He drew people into
his orbit with his bright spirit and gentle gravity, forever changing those who knew him.
He is now joyfully reunited in the cosmos with his brother, Isaiah Khalil Neely, a long-
awaited celestial reunion that brings his family immense comfort.
Gabriel's light and legacy will forever be cherished by his loving parents, Ronney
Harrell Neely and Tanya Lashun Neely; his siblings, Jaden Ahmeil Neely , Simeon
Isra-El Neely and wife, Sylvia S. Neely; his adored nephew, Santana Isra-El Neely; his
doting grandmothers, Johnnie Hall Gaston of Decatur, GA, Essie K. Hurey of
Columbus, GA and Darlene M. Neely of Atlanta, GA; and his grandfather, Ronney
Neely of Greenville, SC.
He was a cherished nephew to his aunt and uncle, Charlene and Richard Harris, and a
beloved "brother" to their children, Chasady Johnson, Richard Harris Jr., Charnele
Harris, and Charity Harris. His memory is also held dear by his supportive tribe, including
his Great Aunt Ollie, a host of loving cousins, countless friends, and his true brothers
gained along the way, especially Christian, Prince, and TJ.
The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to everyone, family, friends, and
even strangers who became family-who supported them with prayers, meals, financial
assistance, and boundless love throughout Gabriel's journey. You helped them "Build
Bear Back," and your kindness will never be forgotten.
