Gabriel “Gabe” Antonio Olivares was born on August 30, 1980 to David Olivares and Aurelia Lopez Olivares in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 1998, he graduated from Temple High School and played for the Temple Wildcats. Gabriel was noted for being the most selfless man you’ll ever meet. He lived for his family, especially his girls. He worked in tech support for McLane’s. Gabe enjoyed dancing, date nights, fire-pit nights with friends, cooking, grilling, and even baking. He loved everything Marvel and found a lot of references to Christianity and scripture in Marvel movies. Gabe was a man of God and shared his faith anywhere he could, including the gym. He enjoyed going to the gym for jiu jitsu, collecting comics, and talking trucks. He met the love of his life, Cassi Sanchez Castilleja two years ago, dancing at Bo’s Barn and then met for church the next morning.
They married in January of 2020.
Gabriel is survived by his parents; wife, Cassi Olivares; two daughters, Abigale Olivares, Alyssa Olivares; son, Issac Sandoval; one brother, Nico Olivares; one sister, Lori Olivares; four nephews, Sergio Lechuga, Julius Lechuga, Noe Lechuga, Zaydyn Anderson, in-laws, and tons of extended family and friends.
