Young's Daughters Funeral Home & Bereavement Center - TemplePatrick Daly Roberson, affectionately known as Daly, was born on July 1, 1960, in Houston, Texas. With a life marked by dedication, warmth, and humor, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Daly passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 12,2026, a loss that has deeply saddened his family and friends.
Daly was a lifelong Texan. He was an electrician by trade working in Conroe, Houston and Austin Texas. His dedication to his craft demonstrated his commitment not only to his profession but also to those who depended on his expertise.
Known for his great sense of humor and loving nature, Daly was a man who cherished his relationships deeply. He was generous to his family and to friends whom he considered family, always expressing care through thoughtful and sympathetic gestures. His sentimentality and supportiveness were qualities that endeared him to many and reflected the true measure of his character. Daly took great pride in being a brother to Rick Roberson and sister Becky Roberson and nephew to Mike Moore with whom he shared treasured moments. He also had another close and loving family with Candie Freeman and her children, grandchildren and the recent addition of a great grandchild who lovingly called him Paw Paw.
Beyond his professional and familial roles, Daly nurtured a passion for hands-on creativity. He found joy in working on classic cars and motorcycles with his Uncle Mike. He had a craftsman’s devotion in building birdhouses and dog houses. His leisure moments were often spent watching old television shows, with a particular fondness for “Wheel of Fortune, Columbo and Perry Mason” reflecting a love for simple pleasures and nostalgia. He loved watching and taking pictures of beautiful sunsets over Lake Belton.
Daly’s proudest accomplishments were deeply connected to his family ties. He loved his family dearly and took immense pride in his role as PawPaw. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a solid sense of belonging to his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles Roberson and Pat (Moore) Roberson, who no doubt watched over him lovingly.
He is survived by his brother, Rick Roberson; his sister, Becky Roberson; his two uncles, Brock Moore and wife Vennie Wolf, Mike Moore and his wife Pat; one aunt, Dot Davis and her husband Tom and several cousins who along with others will carry forward his memory.
