He is preceded in death by his loving father, Aurelio Piña Jr. Gabriel is survived by his two sons, Osiel Andres Piña and DeAngelo Gallegos; his mother, Blanca L. Piña; two siblings, Jeana X. Piña and Justin T. Piña; his paternal grandfather, Aurelio Piña Sr.; his nephew, Evan J. Piña; two uncles; two aunts; numerous cousins; and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83, San Juan, Texas. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo, Texas. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the compassionate care of Flores Funeral Home of Mission.
Gabriel's light and love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

It is with great sorrow that we learned about Gabriel's passing. Please accept our condolences. We remember Gabriel as a blonde, curly -haired little boy. May Our Lord Jesus and the blessed Mary, mother of Jesus, console you. May Aurelio and Gabriel rest in peace.
