GABRIEL MARTINEZ Obituary
March 5, 1980 - January 11, 2026
Gabriel Thomas Martinez, aged 45, passed away on January 11, 2026, in Santa Fe, NM. Known affectionately to friends and family, Gabriel's warm smile and generous spirit touched many throughout his life.
Gabriel is survived by his father, Tommy Martinez Sr., and his partner, Jerry Kolve. He leaves behind his three sisters: Joselle and her husband, Miguel Maes; Sherrie Martinez; and Brigeda and her husband, Ivan Elery. He was a cherished uncle to Sherriann Maez; Dallas and her husband, Derrick Romero; and his nephews, Zach Quintana Miguel and Dominic Villegas.
His beloved partner, Vitalia Candelaria, and their children, sons Gabriel and Reyes Martinez and daughter Kayannah, as well as his granddaughter, Silayah, will miss him deeply. Gabriel's life was enriched by countless friends, relatives, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Martinez; his niece, Darlette Martinez; and his grandparents, Max and Delores Martinez, Paula Sandoval, and Jim Trujillo.
A Rosary will be recited for Gabriel on February 17, 2026, at St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Parish Hall from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Gabriel will be laid to rest at Rosario Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
