Gabriel Craig Wallace, 36, of Whitmire, SC, formerly of Quinland, West Virginia, departed this life on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Born October 14, 1988 in S. Charleston, WV, he is the son of Gene “Wally” and Christi Coleman Wallace. He graduated with honors from Whitmire High School class of 2006, where he was a member of the National Technical Honor Society. After graduation, Gabriel attended Piedmont Technical College.
Gabriel was the most selfless, loving, and caring person. Always willing to help anyone, fix anything, lend a hand without cost. He always had a smile for everyone and brought laughter to everyone around him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gene “Wally” and Christi Coleman Wallace of Whitmire; his sister, Savanah “Moo Cow” Farmer (Kevin) of Whitmire; his wife, Brittni Pressley Wallace and Skip “Judd” of Whitmire; brothers, Cliffton Wallace of Bim, WV., Isaac Wallace of Bim, WV, Robert Cooper of Whitmire, and Patrick Welliver of Whitmire; sister, Caroline Laster of Columbia; his uncles, Patrick Coleman (Coretta) of Whitmire, and Cody Wallace (Johanna) of Buffalo, WV.; his aunt, Shearall Harper (Chuck) of Cross Lanes, WV., his nephews, Mason Wallace, and Jasper Farmer of Whitmire, his cousins, Brandi “PimPim” Coleman (Patrick) of Waynesboro, GA., and Jacob Coleman (Jayme) of Greer; his Godparents, Lyndell and Devon Walker of Sorrento, FL.; his loving dogs and constant companions, Opossum, 18 years old and Solo; his pet moth, Motthew; and a host of family and friends from all over.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Lloyd E. Coleman and Shirley R. Toler Coleman, and Imogene Faye Summerville, and William Wallace, Jr.
A Celebration of Gabriel’s life will be held, 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM– 3:00 PM at the Church, 73 Leaman Avenue, Whitmire, SC 29178.
