Joey Nelson Obituary
Joey E Nelson, 70, of Whitmire passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Newberry Health.
Born on October 5, 1955, he was the son of the late George E Nelson And Pauline Gibson Nelson of Whitmire. Joey was retired from the South Carolina National Guard.
Joey is survived by his wife Beverly Bostic Nelson and his son,,William "Billy" Nelson, a brother, Sandoval (Sandy) Eugene Nelson, a sister, Patsy Nelson Livingston and numerous nieces and nephews.A celebration of life service for Joey will be held at Freedom Baptist Church, 2028 Mount Bethel Garmany Road., Newberry on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
