Gabriela, age 99, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, found eternal peace on November 2, 2025, at home surrounded by the love and comfort of her five children.

Born in Santiago, Chile, Gabriela emigrated to the United States, where she became a proud American citizen. She had made her home in the Milwaukee area since 1957.

A devoted homemaker, Gabriela was also a published poet, an avid artist, a dedicated pet parent, and a voracious reader. She and her beloved late husband of 63 years, Gilberto, shared a deep love of travel and adventure, visiting destinations around the world and often returning to the beaches of Mexico with family.

She is survived by her five children: daughters Gabriela Borda-Rossel, Lucia (Antonio) Borda-Guajardo, and Denise (Douglas Jones) Borda; and sons Eduardo (Carla) and Gilbert (Rose). She was a proud grandmother to Carla, Alexandra, Giselle (Simon), Andrew, Laura, Edward, Eric, Lindsey, Anna, and Amanda; and a loving great-grandmother to Naseem, Evelyn, Gilbert, Dalene, Jade, Maximillian, Anthony, Madilynn, Xavier, and Margharita.

Gabriela is further survived by her cherished sister Leonor del Carmen (Hector) Molina, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members across the United States and Chile, as well as Europe and Australia. She will also be fondly remembered by her dear animal companions, Emily and Cholo.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Laura (née Silva Duarte) and Abel Molina; her sister Laura de las Mercedes (Raul) Molina; and her brothers Ismael (Glafira) and Abel (Elena) Molina.

A visitation for close family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI. A brief service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gabriela's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Wildlife Conservation Society, or the Cancer Research Institute.
