Gabriella Savarese

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gabriella Savarese, 15, of Setauket, New York, who left us on January 8, 2025. Born on May 7, 2009, Gabriella was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, whose radiant smile and warm heart touched all who knew her. Gabriella is survived by her loving parents, Lorri and James Savarese; her two older sisters, Leigha and Angelina; her younger sister, Ariana; and her maternal grandparents Helen and Robert Davidson. She also leaves behind an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with countless friends and members of the community who were blessed to have known her. Gabriella has now joined her beloved paternal grandparents, Michael and Catherine Savarese, in heaven, where their love will surround her eternally. A student at Ward Melville High School, Gabriella was deeply involved in the school's theater program, serving as prop master and a Ward Melville player. Her passion for the arts was evident in her dedication and creativity, inspiring her peers and bringing numerous productions to life. Beyond the stage, Gabriella had a profound love for reading, art and children. She was an avid fan of horror movies and Marvel, with a special affection for Spider-Man, often drawing inspiration from these stories in her own creative endeavors. Gabriella's generosity and affection made everyone feel special. Her ability to connect with others, coupled with her compassionate nature, left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and creativity will continue to inspire the community. Gabriella's departure leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but her spirit will forever remain with us, inspiring acts of kindness, creativity, and love.
