Gabrielle White Fardon, age 72, a native of Rochdale, England and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Gabrielle, or "Gay" as she was often called by family and friends, was born June 6, 1952, the youngest of seven siblings. She was a homemaker and loved to cook. She spent her time baking pies, listening to music, singing and dancing. Gay loved being a wife, mother and Nana. She loved her family and loved all her dogs too. She was a member of Saint Agatha Catholic Church and looked forward to seeing the priest and her friends at church. She had many wonderful friends and never met a stranger.
Gay was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Daniel White of Rochdale, England; and two sisters, Barbara OConnor of Rochdale, England and Angela Netherton of Salisbury, Australia.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Graham Fardon; her daughters, Gillian Hartman (Nick) and Gemma Jernigan (Van); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Victoria, Olivia, Whitney and William; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Emmaleigh, Jasper, Jaxon, Easton and Avianna; siblings, Margaret Chadwick (Raymond), Pauline Fardon (Tony), Eddie White (Sandra) and John White; along with lots of nieces and nephews; niece, Zoee; sister-in-law, Sheila (Chris) and brother-in-law, Steven.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11AM at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1001 Hand Avenue in Bay Minette, AL. There will be a time of visitation before the service, beginning at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Satin Agatha Catholic Church, 1001 Hand Avenue, Bay Minette, AL, 36507.
Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
