GAIL CATHERINE BUCKLAND (nee Debelak) age 75, beloved wife for 32 years of Rick; loving mother of Jimmy, Tammy, Donny, Danny (Shannon), Brian and Brittany (Laramie); devoted grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of many; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Ann (nee Somich) Debelak; dearest sister of Sharon and the late Beverly.

Gail was born January 21, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a graduate of Shaw High School. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Lakeland Community College. When not working and in retirement, Gail could be found cooking and baking for her family, working her summer-long garage sale, or at the casino trying to win big on the slot machines. She also enjoyed grocery shopping, her soap operas, and spending time with her family, which she cherished the most. Gail will be remembered as a loving and selfless person who cared about everyone and wanted everyone to get along. She will truly be missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.

Contributions may be made in memory of Gail to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Gail at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY, September 12th from 3-6 PM.
