Gail L. Chadburn 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born November 22, 1935, in Mesquite Nevada to Aaron and Grace (Lowe) Leavitt. She was raised in Mesquite, Nevada where she graduated from high school. Gail married the love of her life, Sherman Chadburn, on November 22, 1952 in the St. George Temple and together they had their children Jeff, Jeanette, Kurt and Kelby.
Gail spent her years with her family in Veyo and St. George, Utah where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed going hunting with Sherman, picking up pine nuts, taking care of animals, gardening, crafts, cooking, painting, and just being with her family.
Gail is survived by her son, Kelby Chadburn, brother Mitchell Leavitt, Irene Yeakel, nine grandkids and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Grace Leavitt, sons Jeff and Kurt, daughter Jeanette, and grandson Waylon Curtis.
A viewing will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah followed by a graveside service at the Veyo Cemetery in Veyo, Utah at 1:00 p.m.
