Gail Conville Obituary
Gail Griffin Conville, 80, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at her residence.
The funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Chris Oglesby officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial was held in Palmetto Cemetery.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Robyn Carter (Brian) of Brunswick; a brother, Barry Griffin (John Cockrell) of Atlanta; grandchildren, Christin Kinstle (Clint), Candis Harrison, Joseph Harrison (Kim) and Hunter Turch; and great-grandchildren, Natalie Ruiz (Leo), Emily Kinstle, Clay Kinstle, Brayden Wells, Griffin Harrison, Paxton Harrison, Anna Harrison and Audrey Harrison.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant Quentin Griffin and Eva Estelle Gunter Griffin; her husband, Joseph M. Conville Jr.; and a sister,Glenda Bradham.
Gail was born in Brunswick on Sept. 2, 1944. She was a graduate of the Class of 1963 at Glynn Academy and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Gail was retired from the Glynn County Board of Education; she loved her church family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, 34 Washington St. Suite 230, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory was entrusted with the arrangements.
