Gail Elizabeth Cooke, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1st, 2026. A cherished resident of Millville, NJ since 2004, Gail previously called Brigantine and Galloway, NJ home. Born in Springfield, Ohio, Gail's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys.
Gail dedicated many years of her life to her work as a cashier at Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ.. Her love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, was evident to all who knew her. Gail found solace and joy in the company of horses and cherished her time spent on the serene beaches of Brigantine. Her creative spirit shone through in her passion for sewing and crafts, leaving behind beautiful memories and handmade treasures.
She is survived by her devoted children, Lisa Gail Goldsberry (Larry), Randy Ray Monhollen, and Gwen Ellen Monhollen. Her grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Alisha Lane, Michael Catino, Abigail Santana, Spencer Monhollen, and Heidi Monhollen, will forever hold her memory close. Gail was also blessed with great-grandchildren Halie Walden, Riley Wilson, Rennon DelaMarche, Rory DelaMarche, and Amora Santana, who brought immense joy to her life.
She is also survived by her siblings, Helen Baird and Richard Cooke, who shared in her life's journey. Gail was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clifford and Bonnie Cooke, her son Guy Clifford Monhollen, and her sisters Connie Mendoza, Ethel Rader, and Jackie Mansfield.
In accordance with her wishes, a private cremation will be held. Gail's family invites those who knew her to share memories and condolences on her tribute wall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in Gail's name to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360.
