Ms. Gail Wright Fincher, age 78 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She was born on February 27, 1946 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Ed Wright and Nellie Williams Wright.
Ms. Fincher was one of the strongest, hardworking, loving and caring women that we knew and loved. She was a roofer in trade and roofed the majority of homes in Polk County in her 35 years of roofing. Her biggest accomplishments in life were her kids and grandkids. To know Gail was to love her. If she was your friend then you had a friend for life and she would do anything to help you if you needed it. She also was a CNA before retiring to take care of her grandkids full time. She will be missed by many.
Ms. Fincher is survived by her daughters, Lesa (sister)Jackson (Joseph Martin), Tabitha Fincher, April Fincher, Tammy Fincher Colston, and Denise Fincher; sons, Crick Fincher (Angie McDonald), Eric Deaton, Toby Fincher, and Scottie Fincher; grandchildren, Adrian Williams (JB), Ryan Fincher, Taylor Formby, Natalie Fincher (Jacob Anderson), Amera Hoke, Rylee Barrett, and Dalton Dooley; and great-grandchild, Harlyn Grace Williams.
Ms. Fincher is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Chad Fincher and Josh Fincher; sisters, Pat Parris, Mary Ann Wills, Snook White, Peggy Jones, and Vera Odom; and brothers, Bud Wright and Glen Wright.
In keeping with Ms. Fincher's wishes, she was cremated. The family of Ms. Fincher will have a visitation service on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from two o'clock in the afternoon until four o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.
