On February 19, 1966, Gail was united in marriage with James A. Samson, at St. Mary’s church, Constableville. Afterwards the couple lived in Constableville, before living in Macedon, NY for a time, where she enjoyed her employment at Checko’s Bar and Grill.

Later the couple returned to Constableville, where she was employed for several years at Hotel Parquet. Her last employment for many years was at the Buffalo Head Restaurant, Forestport,

Gail’s number one hobby was doting over her grandchildren and shaping them into the witty characters they’ve become today. She is survived by three daughters, Shannon and son in law John Gavin, Holland Patent, Janine (Taras) Kowalewsky, Boonville, Amy Samson and partner, Doug Dorrity, Boonville; her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Cody) and Noah (Nicole) Roberts and their children, (Gail’s great grandchildren), Ellena and Titus Roberts.
