Boonville – Daniel Michael Rosinski, 88, husband of Patricia, passed away on February 19, 2026 at Wynn Hospital Utica, following a brief illness.
Daniel was born on January 3, 1938 at home in New York Mills, NY, a son of Thomas and Hedwidg Scott Rosinski. He received his education and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School with the class of 1957.
On September 10, 1960 Daniel was united in marriage with Patricia Fenk at Sacred Heart Church, Yorkville. The couple settled in Utica, where Daniel was employed with United Parcel Service. He was proud of his 35 years of employment with UPS, and for many of those years was the home deliveryman for the Ilion area.
In the early 1990’s the couple moved to Boonville, where they remodeled their family camp on the Black River to be their permanent residence in their retirement. Daniel was an avid and accomplished golfer. Through the years he golfed in various leagues at Woodgate Pines Golf Course in Boonville. He enjoyed watching various sports on TV, and was a proud fan of the NY Giants and NY Yankee’s.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, son Peter Rosinski, Ilion, son Paul (Louise) Rosinski, Forestport, daughter MaryBeth (Keith) Korman, Boonville, and son John (Michelle) Rosinski, Oriskany. He is also survived by grandchildren: Cody Rosinski, Kristen Korman, Danielle (Steve) Pritchard, Nick Rosinski and fiancé Aliyah, and Justin Rosinski, four great-grandchildren, his brother Thomas (Barbara) Rosinski, South Carolina, several nieces and nephews including a special niece Donna Lacatina.
In keeping with Daniel’s wishes there will be no services. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where online messages of sympathy may be made at www.trainorfuneralhome.com.
