Ocoee, FL – Jeffrey M. Ossont, 69, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home in Ocoee.

Jeffrey was born on December 23, 1956, in Lowville, a son of Floyd R. and Arlene Mashaw Ossont. He grew up in Lyons Falls, NY, receiving his education from South Lewis Central School, where he was a graduate with the Class of 1975. Shortly thereafter he relocated to Florida and began work in building (Bridgework) projects as a painter. For over 30 years, he was employed with CEM Enterprises in Orlando. He also did many general painting and pressure washing jobs while living summers in New York during retirement.

On August 4, 1984 Jeffrey was united in marriage with Christine A. Deal at St. John’s Church, Lyons Falls.

Jeffrey was an avid Nascar Racing WWE wrestling, Buffalo Bills, Syracuse Orange and Orlando Magic fan. He enjoyed playing his slots online, visiting the Casinos, card games with friends and family; days at the Game Time with Ian and going to the movies with Kenny and Ian. He and his wife Christine enjoyed their summers in New York each year visiting with family and friends and camping on Brantingham Lake. They also enjoyed hosting Disney trips for all his family and friends on their visits to FL.

Jeffrey is survived by his sons: Kenneth (Jessica) Ossont, Davenport, FL, and Ian Ossont, Ocoee, his siblings: William (Patricia) Ossont, Gasport, NY, Peter (Susan) Ossont, Lyons Falls, Denise (James) Reed, Canastota, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 39 years Christine who passed away on April 4, 2023, as well as brothers: Kenneth, Duane, and Reginald, and sisters: Priscilla Linck and Maxine LaQuay-McConnell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with Deacon James Chaufty officiating. Interment in the spring will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons Falls Fire Department POB 520 Lyons Falls, NY 13368.
