Rita volunteered as a church schoolteacher at St. Paul's, and she was an active supporter of Rome Catholic High School. Rita enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, boating, traveling, and spending vacation time with her family. She was a devoted Syracuse basketball and Buffalo Bills football fan.

I can still remember her dedication and kindness as my kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten class of "64".

Every single Christmas, I recall with such joy, all the music we managed to create Christmas morning, while she was so tired from Midnight Mass.
No Christmas is complete without our "OHoly Night" playing in my memories.
