Gail Ellen Graley

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gail Ellen Graley, who left us peacefully on March 8, 2026.

Gail was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. Born on October 7, 1942, in Charleston, West Virginia, she spent her life embracing others with boundless love and an unbreakable spirit.

She was a woman of strength, grace, and resilience, and never met a stranger. Gail was deeply dedicated to her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love was a constant source of comfort and guidance to those blessed enough to be a part of her life.

Gail worked as an administrative assistant at Spring High School while her children were in school and later provided administrative support at the Lawerence Street Healthcare Center in Tomball. However, her most rewarding job was planning and preparing for family events and gatherings.

While living in her home in Magnolia, you could always find her working in the yard or relaxing on her back porch. She loved sitting at the breakfast table in the early morning hours, watching as the deer roamed the backyard.

Above all, she will be remembered for the profound love she gave to her children, grandchildren, and all who called her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love that will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Gail was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Graley; her brothers, Doug and Andy Cavender; and her parents, Carl and Lucille Cavender. She is survived by her son, Gary (Kim) Graley; daughter, Cyndi (Jon) Philley; grandchildren, Grant, Addisyn, Sarah, Katelyn, and Lauren; sisters, Carol (Eddie) Ash and Shirley (Bob) Milkavich; as well as various loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Pinehurst Klein Memorial Park in Tomball, TX, on Friday, March 13, at 1:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Christus Spohn Shoreline and Altus Hospice in Corpus Christi, TX for the loving care and support they provided to our beloved mother during her time in their care.
