Worked 17 years as a Cashier Clerk for Jewel Foods in Park Forest. Partner at KRT Concrete with her husband Karl. Wife for 48 years of Karl Hipke. Mother of Robert (Nicole) Hipke, Timothy (Stefanie) Hipke and Matthew (Jamie) Hipke. Grandmother of Kaleb, Collin, Sean, Max, Howard and Harrison Hipke. Daughter of the late Lillian nee Steakle and William Ehlers. Sister of Michael (Regina) Buice, Joseph (late Jessie) Knight and the late James (Gail) Knight. Aunt and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30. 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Thursday September 26, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Friday September 27, 2024 9:15 am from funeral home to St Mary Church, 227 Monee Road, Park Forest. Mass 10:00 am. Burial private. Info 708-481-9230 and panozzobros.com.

Very sorry to hear of Gail's passing. Knew her briefly while she was at Miller. Very nice woman. Thinking of her husband Karl during this difficult time.
