YOUNGSTOWN — Gail A. Marzano, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Inn at Christine Valley.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1942, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of Albert Brennan and the former Dorothy Godfrey.
Gail devoted many years of her life to assisting her husband at his jewelry store, Marzano’s Jewelry in Niles.
Her passions included dancing and her enduring love for Elvis Presley. She had an infectious laugh. Above all, Gail treasured the moments spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Leigh (Dr. John) Cox of Canfield; son, Brian (Andrea) Nobbs of Cincinnati; sisters, Derethea Hoban of Cleveland, Gloria (Fred) Canfield of Orlando, Florida, and Marsha (Russ) Stout of South Carolina; grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter, Riley, Dalma, Zara, Alexandra (Clayton), Lauren (Alexander) and Jacob; and stepgrandchildren, John and Dan.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel Marzano; sister, Jacqueline Frazer; and brothers, Albert, Derwin, Ronald and Frank Brennan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at St. Christine Church. Calling hours will be held prior to the Mass beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
Gail’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and aides at the Inn at Christine Valley for the compassion and love provided to Gail.
