Gail A. Miller
May 17, 1952 - Oct. 5, 2023
Gail A. Miller, age 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Aurora Hospital, with her family there to comfort her.
Born in Watertown, Wisconsin, on May 17, 1952, Gail was the daughter of Gilbert Wolf and Betty (Hemke) Wolf. She moved to Kenosha at a young age, attended local schools and graduated from Tremper High School in 1970.
Gail was an extremely hard worker. She worked for MacWhyte Wire Rope until it closed. She then worked at Quaker/Kay Home Products for 19 years, retiring in 2018.
On October 28, 2000, Gail married Mark Miller in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after a 17-year engagement! Together they enjoyed team horseshoes, traveling to northern Wisconsin, fishing and Harley riding, Gail was a lover of foxes, shirts, socks, puzzles, figurines . . . .she loved them all. She was also an avid fan of the Brewers, Packers and Badgers, giving her extraordinary loud whistle when necessary. The faces of her children, grandchildren and co-workers would light up when she walked in with treats, especially her famous ice cream cake. She was truly proud of her children and grandchildren and their many accomplishments.
Gail is survived by her mother, Betty Wolf, her husband, Mark, her son, Andrew (Carey) Patterson and her daughter, Tamara (Allen) Pribnow. Her grandchildren, Drew, Jacob, Jason and Emily Patterson, Lance Corporal Maxwell Cook, Mckenna Hall, Myles, Mercy and Maleah Pribnow and her great-granddaughter, Cecelia Lewis. Also surviving Gail, are her siblings, Dennis Wolf, Janet Truax, Susan (Gary) Garvin and Gary Wolf and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sadly, Gail was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Wolf, and siblings, Karen (Ninny) Steege and Duane Wolf, and her beloved cat, Coconut.
Funeral services honoring Gail's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery. A visitation for Gail will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to American Cancer Society, https://donatecancer.org would be appreciated.
