Gail was born October 21, 1939 in Oakland, California, to the late Arthur Doty Kent and Evelyn Frieda Deeg. She graduated from Oakland Senior High School. She was married to Lawrence C Bennett and Wallace M Nisas who both preceded her in death.

She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Gail was a homemaker and mother, who enjoyed flipping houses before it was a thing. She also enjoyed sewing and was a recreational boater in her youth. Gail worked for many years at State Farm Insurance Company, and she was the co-owner of Bennett's Creamery in the '70's. She was able to travel the western United States with Wally in their RV. She lived in Oakland, Santa Rosa, and Stockton, CA; Winlock, WA; and Bend, OR.

Gail is survived by her sons, Bruce Bennett and Dennis Bennett; grandchildren, Caleb Coultress Bennett, Riley Dwyer, Nathaniel Bennett, and Jonah Bennett. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Sharon Kern.

A small memorial service and cremains spreading ceremony will be held on San Francisco Bay next month. Date to be announced.
