Doris Patricia Jensen

Doris Patricia (Pat) Jensen passed away at the age of 97 on Feb. 12, 2026 in Bend, Oregon. She was a life-long resident of Central Oregon.

Pat was born in Prineville, Oregon on March 17, 1928. Her parents were Roy and Velma Moffitt who preceded her in death. As a child, her family move to Bend, Oregon. She had fond memories of childhood summers at Odell Lake where her parents operated a guide service offering multi-night horseback trips to backcountry lakes.

In 1947, she married Ivan F. Jensen. They enjoyed 67 years of married life. They enjoyed fishing and camping in Central Oregon.

They had two sons, Robert (Bob) and Michael (Mick).

She is survived by her two sons and their wives. Bob (Carol) and Mick (Peggy) and two grandchildren Angela & Jamie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan in 2014, a brother, Omar in 2003 and a great-granddaughter, Mahayla in 1993.

She was a member of the Deschutes Pioneers Association, and the Deschutes Historical Society. She enjoyed needlework.

A small family service was held. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to ClearPath Health Care of Redmond or the organization of your choice.
