Gail D. Pratt

Gail Diane Pratt, born on November 20, 1954, in Hammond, Indiana, departed in peace on December 28, 2024, in Utica, New York, at the age of 70.
Gail was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Alice Pratt. Those who remain to celebrate her life are her sister, Leslie Goerner (George); three nephews, Aaron (Heidi), Chris (Megan), and Mark (Debra) Goerner; niece Sarah Gaetano (Angelo), and a host of grandnephews and grandnieces, some with spouses and little ones, all of whom brought Gail immense joy.
For 38 years, Gail was a valued employee at MetLife, where she developed lasting friendships with coworkers.
Gail loved the Lord and, even more importantly, was deeply loved by Him-a love that continues as she is now in Jesus' blessed presence. She will be remembered for her thoughtful and generous devotion to her family and her constant delight in their activities and accomplishments. Their frequent visits were the highlight of her days.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 8470 New Floyd Road, Rome NY on Friday, January 10 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Gail's memory be made to Christ Church.
