Gail B. Walker
Gail Butler Walker, 84 years, widow of Marvin A. Walker, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Upstate Community Hospice House, after a long illness.
Gail was born on July 22, 1939, in Ellenboro, North Carolina to the late Clyde Walter Butler and Fannie Brunette Morehead. She was a former secretary and bookkeeper for Safe Homes and a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey A. Walker (Angie) of Boiling Springs, sisters, Marjorie Toney (Ray) of Newton, North Carolina and Carol Davis (Bob) of Ellenboro, North Carolina, and her two grandchildren, Erin Frady (Jonathon) and Nathan Walker both of Boiling Springs.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda Burnett and brother, Boyce Butler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Kris Showen officiating. Burial will take place Monday, July 1, 2024 in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
