Gail Wall

With a spirit as vibrant as the figurines she painted, Gail Marie Wall, known lovingly as "Punk," filled our lives with color and laughter. Born on May 10, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, Gail's journey was a testament to her resilience, wit, and boundless love. Her compassionate nature was a beacon of comfort to all, her creativity a source of endless awe and inspiration. A dedicated supervisor in the shipping and stocking industry for over 30 years, she was admired for her tenacious spirit and indomitable work ethic.
Gail was a woman of many passions. A music enthusiast, an avid golfer, a lover of campfires at Sandy Pines, there was an infectious joy in every hobby she pursued. Her love for her dog, Shiloh, was a testament to her caring soul, and her fondness for 'messing with Mike' was a testament to her playful humor. In her retirement, she found solace and happiness in painting figurines, each stroke a reflection of her lively spirit and unique perspective on life. With a heart as generous as her laughter, Gail was a cherished member of the Sandy Pines community, embodying their values of fellowship and camaraderie.
Gail is survived by her loving husband, Mike, to whom she was married on April 24, 1993, and with whom she shared a love story that was as beautiful as it was enduring. She is also survived by her sons Charles (Marie) Ricketts, and Anthony (Heather) Wall, her daughter Jacklyn (Tank) Ludwig, her 6 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and a great-grandson. Her brothers Jim Wolford, Larry Sipe, and Shawn Sipe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Lawrence Sipe, as well as her 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
As we remember Gail, we are reminded of the verse from the book of Proverbs 31:25, fitting for a woman of her resilience and spirit, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Her life was an embodiment of this verse, and she continues to inspire us in her absence.
Join us for a viewing on Friday, 10 May 2024 at 11:00amEDT at the Hoven Funeral Home, 414 East Front Street, Buchanan, Michigan, 49107. The service will follow at 12:00pmEDT at the same venue. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at 7849 Cleveland Avenue, Baroda, MI.
