Gail R. Woods, of Seneca, SC, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 78. Gail was born on January 27, 1947, in Newport News, VA.
In her lifetime, Gail was defined by her generosity and devotion, and love for animals. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Gail spent most of her life as a resident of Newport News and Magalia, California. The loss of her California home to the Paradise Wildfires would be the start of her life in South Carolina. Although her residency in SC was short, her perseverance and friendly nature ensured that her life in South Carolina would yield many strong and loving friendships. She was loved by her many friends and neighbors and will be dearly missed.
Gail is survived by her brother Mark Graham, Nieces Meg Jamison and Alison Forester, Nephew David R. Graham, Dear Friends Militiadis Stamatopoulos and Despoina Sakoglou. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lau Reed and Lydia Graham; Her beloved son, Christian Woods; her Brother, William N. Graham; and her Nephew, Curtis A. Graham.
Gail was a faithful supporter of Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Oconee County Humane Society. The family wishes those hoping to honor Gail’s memory to make donations in her name to these charities.
