Gale W. Ford

Gale W. Ford of Mount Juliet, TN passed away on April 29, 2023 with her daughter and son in law by her side. She was 80 years old. Gale was the first born child to parents Grace C. Wilkes and Walter Alonzo Wilkes, born on June 3, 1942. She was Christian and a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Gale was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Iris Jeanette Faulk, Glenda Diane Atwood, Garey Wayne Wilkes, and John Grady Wilkes.
She is survived by her daughter DeAnna Leigh Sledge, son in law Joseph Thomas Sledge Jr., her beloved grandsons, Richard Brandon Elam, Joseph Rhyan Sledge (April), Matthew Thomas Sledge (Ashley), and Elijah Conner Sledge. Her great grandchildren, Thomas Dean Worrell (15), Vaeda Rowan Sledge (7), Bristol June Marlow (5), and Freeland Luke Sledge (4).
She was the perfect balance of caring and strong. Gale always had the best advice and a loving smile on her face. To be her friend was a treasure.
Memorial services will be conducted May 5, 2023 at 2pm at Todays Victory Church, 1017 Stearman Drive, White House, TN 37188. Come casual or straight from work No worries.
