Gale James Larimer

Gale James Larimer, age 75, of Burnsville, passed away on December 25, 2025. Gale was preceded in death by his siblings, Carole, John, and Lowell.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn; his daughter, Michelle; and his loyal buddy, Cody (dog). He is also survived by his brother, Larry and his wife, Marletta; his twin sister, Gayette, and her husband, Jeff; his brother-in-law, Carl; along with many nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and dear friends.

Gale graduated from Chosen Valley High School in Chatfield, Minnesota, before enlisting in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, Gale built a long and dedicated career in the auto body industry. He worked for Martin Senour Paints, a division of The Sherwin-Williams Company, before later joining PBE Jobbers Warehouse, Inc., where he spent 17 years. In total, Gale devoted more than 25 years to the auto body and automotive supply industry.

Gale had a passion for travel and, through his journeys across the United States, made many lasting friendships. He was also a true enthusiast of classic cars and maintained an extensive and cherished car collection.

A celebration of Gale's life will take place Saturday January 10, 2026 1:00-4:00 PM at The Tavern Grill -valleyroom 15435 Founders Ln. Apple Valley, MN
