Garey's parents Dale, Arlene used to live across the street from us in Sunnyvale, California on San Simeon in the late 60s. Dale would graft trees of different varieties of fruit onto the same tree. You would see different types of fruit growing together the strangest thing. He had a pond with fish in it in the backyard. He had worm beds for fishing bait. One time my Dad, Dale and I went fishing on Clearlake. We were catching so many fish they were all over the bottom of the boat, we got caught in a big storm coming in I had to sit up front with my dad to even out the little aluminum boat. Dale brought home a live sea turtle in the back of his camper from Mexico one time. I came home from school and there was a Giant Marlin fish hanging from the patio cover. He used to make the big lead ball fishing weights. Made a lamp out of a old wagon wheel that hung out back on their patio. We were at Garey's, Cheryl's wedding 55 plus years ago. Garey used to live in Prundale outside of Monterey in the 90s. Hope Cheryl and kids are at peace. Love from Cousin David Cearlock
