Garlyn Hansen

Garlyn Hansen, 87, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Loveland, Colorado. Born on January 5, 1938, in Callaway, Nebraska, Garlyn lived a rich and purposeful life defined by dedication to his work and a deep love for family.

His professional journey was as diverse as it was meaningful. Garlyn began his career farming the land with care and determination. He later served in law enforcement with honor and integrity before taking to the open road as a long-haul truck driver. Garlyn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Hansen, and his daughter, Teresha Hansen-Portalatin. He is survived by his son, Eric Hansen, and six grandchildren who will carry forward the memory of their grandfather's strength and warmth.
