Garry was born November 12, 1965 to Garry and Joyce Jones in Evansville, Indiana.
Garry attended and graduated from Copperas Cove High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army. The U. S. Army recognized Garry for his honorable service in Panama with several service medals.
He returned home and hired on at the Fort Worth Police Department where he served and protected for 26 years. That’s also where he met the love of his life Beverly. Garry and Beverly lived in Fort Worth and later moved to Saginaw. Garry retired from FWPD, but the complacent life didn’t suit him. Beverly suggested he find a hobby and he went to work for the Drover hotel in the stockyards and thoroughly enjoyed the guests and the professional artist with whom he interacted. After retirement, he continued protecting the public with Dominion Equippers, where he loved keeping everyone safe. He then found his hobby being a professional cowboy enthusiast and shopper of boots, belts, cowboy hats and anything that a cowboy would need. He was a true Texas Cowboy at heart!
Garry will be truly missed by family, his community, veterans and police officers.
Garry worked security for Dominion Equippers School. He was very involved and loved the kids he worked with so much. Glenview Baptist Church, that is affiliated with the school where Garry worked is providing the services on behalf of Garry and his wife, Beverly.
