Daniel Alan Roth was born Oct. 19, 1959 in Amarillo, Texas, to Margaret Ingle Roth and Rev. Jack Daniel Roth. As a child, he moved to several cities with his parents including Fort Worth, Memphis and Kansas City, Kansas. In the mid 1970s, he moved to Stuttgart, Arkansas, to live on the family rice farm with his grandmother Effie Marie Roth. He graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1978. He attended Memphis State University before moving to Houston, Texas, in the mid 1980s. He was an avid duck hunter and fisherman and roamed the bayous and rice fields of southeast Arkansas as a young man and loved attending the annual World's Championship Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart. He relocated in the late 1990s to Fort Worth to be closer to his family. In his later years, he enjoyed cooking and following his favorite sports teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Daniel Roth and Margaret Ingle Roth. He is survived by brothers Mark Bryan Roth, Steven Clarence Roth and wife Merianne, sister Marie Michele Doyle and husband James; nieces and nephews, Amanda Jordan Going and husband Trip, Angela Jordan Hendon and husband Luke; James Patrick Doyle, Ashley Doyle, Anna Doyle, Robert Truman Roth, Grady Kimmel Roth, Sean Doyle and Kelly Doyle.
