Blacksburg - Garry Richard Moore, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2025 at Crown Haven Health & Rehab in Charlotte, NC.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of H.K. and Cathryn Pickler Moore. He formerly worked as a machinist in manufacturing. He also did devotionals at Peachtree Centre every Sunday for many years.
Surviving Mr. Moore are his son, Jeremy Nathan Moore (Cheyenna); his daughter, Christina Sizemore (Mark); his brother, Tim Moore Jean); six grandchildren, Lane Moore, Axel Moore, Abby Mace, Hannah Mace, Ethan Sizemore, Sadie Sizemore, and one on the way, Johanna Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Moore, and his grandchildren, Mark Evan Sizemore and Kaydence Grace Sizemore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Mr. Dwayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
