Gaffney, SC - Nathan Dennis Moore, 81, of 112 Dennis Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Linda Gray Moore and son of the late Nathan Hazel Moore and Helen Cash Moore. He retired as owner/operator of Moore's Masonry and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church. He loved his family, guitars, gospel music, enjoyed drones, fireworks and Christmas lights.
In addition to his wife, also surviving are six daughters, Annette Ireland (Greg) of Pacolet, Karen Burgess (Jon), Tammy Williams, Tracy Moore (Adam Martin), Stephanie Moore-Scruggs (Brian) and Christy Bradley (Jason), all of Gaffney; two brothers, Donnie Moore (Elaine) and Donald Moore (Teresa), both of Gaffney; eleven grandchildren, Bobby Bolick, Michelle Driskill, Brooke Gibson, Carson Burgess, Angela Holmes, Denise Williams, Kristen McIntyre, Tyler Spearman, Andrew Lindsay, Justin Bradley and Nathan Bradley; sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nikki Parker and a brother, Danny Moore.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, February 16, 2026 at East Gaffney Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the Church with Reverend Gregg Martin and Reverend Josh Davison officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue #100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
The family will be at the residence, 112 Dennis Drive, Gaffney.
