Abiel Garry Moore, known by most as Garry, age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus and his Father God whom he loved on February 12, 2026. He was born in Sinton, Texas on September 13, 1949, but spent most of his life in Alliance, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Isela Valdez; father, Charles L. Moore; grandparents, Francisco and Matilda Valdez of Taft, Texas.

Garry is survived by his sister, Nora (Dave) McMillan of New Braunfel, Texas; sister, Isela Buehler of Alliance; nephews, Demian and John Buehler of Limaville and Alvin (Yasmin) Buehler of Buffalo, New York; niece, Davida (Andrew) Pantusa of Barberton, Ohio; nine grand nephews and nieces; three great-grand nephews and nieces; three step-grand nephew and nieces; and his aunts, Ester Valdez of Mexico and Berniece Kavanaugh of Kentucky. He deeply loved each and everyone of them.

He enjoyed writing poems, gardening, fishing, bowling, carpentry, playing baseball and bowling. His favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

The family would like to thank Aultman Alliance Hospital ER, Aultman Hospital Hospice in Canton, and McCrea Manor for how well they cared for Garry.

Per Garry's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Christian Church (10162 Freshley Ave NE # 6, Alliance, OH 44601).
