Gary Alls Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 3, 2025.
Lee's amazing and wonderful life came to an end on November 25, 2025. Gary Lee Alls was born December 3, 1947 in Paducah, KY to the late Howard Alls and Evelyn Driggers Alls. Throughout his career Lee took on many jobs that he loved but the job he loved the most was Street Superintendent for the City of Owensboro from which he retired. In the role of Superintendent at the Street Department, he saw it as a privilege and honor to be with the best employees the city had, according to Lee. He also supervised the sewer department and the sign department where he computerized the creation of street signs with the reflective signs you see everyday.

Lee was a loving and caring husband, dad, father-in-law, grandfather and brother. He loved cooking for his family and playing games, and especially enjoyed watching football in the fall. He immensely enjoyed the many meals and conversations he had with his grandsons after picking them up at school.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his many beloved fur babies including his very special furry grandson, Boomer "Jughead" Alls.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lissa, his very independent and beautiful daughters Beth Satterly and Becky Alls. Beth is married to Lee's awesome son-in-law Nathan Satterly, plus they gave him two amazing grandsons, Connor Michael Satterly of Louisville,

KY and Noah Crawford Satterly of Owensboro, KY. He is survived by his brother Howard Alls, wife Sarah, of Evansville, IN and sister Patricia Royse of Paducah, KY.

Per Lee's request, there will be no services. The family requests donations be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky or SPARKY (Saving Paws Animal Rescue of KY) in lieu of flowers or gifts.
