Mr. Gary Steve Bartley, 75, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Lambsburg, VA, on October 22, 1948, to the late Willie Alex and Nora Stantliff Bartley. Mr. Bartley retired from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist with several years of service. He enjoyed fishing and flying model airplanes. Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Sandra Stanley Bartley; two sons, Hampton Duane Bartley (Michelle) and Nathan Alex Bartley (Carrie); five grandchildren, Dexter, Michael, Blake, Mikayla, and Marc; also surviving is a great-grandson, Harley. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Dr. Kent Oviatt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
