Gary Belloli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel - New Baltimore on Dec. 24, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Belloli, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on a winter morning, Friday, January 31, 1947, Gary was a cherished resident of New Baltimore, Michigan, who touched many lives with his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.
Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Linda, with whom he shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. As a father, Gary was endlessly proud and supportive, leaving behind a legacy of love in his children: Kurt (Charissa) Belloli and Karen (John) Strzelecki. He was a doting grandfather to Donelle, Isabelle, Madelyn, and Grant, who will forever hold dear the special moments they shared.
A beloved brother to Michael (Joy) Belloli and Suzanne Sopala, Gary maintained a close bond with his siblings throughout his life. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Albert II and Ruth (Barbret) Belloli, and his brother, Albert Belloli III, who have welcomed him with open arms.
Gary dedicated over 35 years of his career to Detroit Edison (DTE), where he worked as a power plant operator. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his hard work and commitment. A proud veteran, Gary served his country with honor in the United States Army.
For more than two decades, Gary was a faithful member of Christ the King Church in Chesterfield Township, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to his community. An avid sports enthusiast, Gary particularly enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge found in golf and pickleball. He also loved playing cards, sharing countless nights of laughter and friendly competition with loved ones.
Visitation for Gary will be on Friday, Dec. 27th from 3-7 pm with a 5:30 p.m. funeral service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel 35259 23 Mile Rd. (New Baltimore). Interment Oakwood Cemetery in New Baltimore Michigan.
Though he will be dearly missed, Gary's legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
